I found this to be valuable. I work with strong readers, and I think we need to give them (and ourselves) permission to SAVOR rather than RUSH.

[Mrs. Selke @SelkesLair]

@pernilleripp Thank you for this. I struggle each year with the same thing, and then rush at the end of the year to "make it". I think I'll give myself permission to lower my own goal and savor rather than push.

This is what 40 years of thinking and planning look like Bruce Banerdt had a dream of putting a seismograph on Mars as a grad student in the 70s and now thanks to #TaskCommitment & ability to #Collaborate we will better understand #MarsQuakes #KeepMovingForward #DareMightyThings

For the second time in history, a human-made object has reached the space between the stars. Now slightly more than 11 billion miles (18 bil. km) from Earth, @NASAVoyager 2 has now left the Sun's protective bubble & is flying in interstellar space: https://t.co/zRnhiaJqGS #AGU18

Today is the 70th Anniversary of the @UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It's important to note that the creators of the declaration believed that education is directly connected to the foundation of human rights. #UDHR70

Every year around my birthday, my students ask me how old I am. Every year, I give them some clues they could use. (I turned 5 the year Star Wars came out). Currently have a few students frantically doing research and calculations to figure it out. #RealMathMotivator

My fourth grade math kids are doing a Stock Market game.... whew... it's been a rough day to be following the market! #RealWorldLessons #IAmLosingNow

In November, Fortnite passed the 200 million user mark. Plot the growth of Fortnite:
Aug 17 - 1 M
Oct 17 - 10 M
Dec 17 - 30 M
Jan 18 - 45 M
Apr 18 - 79 M
Jun 18 - 125 M
Nov 18 - 200 M
When do you expect the game to pass a quarter-billion users? A half-billion?
