@brunusnolanus If he recognizes the manipulation here, then he always has.
The fact that he didn't comply this time, means before this he was just humoring her.
That means she isn't as clever as she thought she was.
Must be brutal to realize.
@Neo_Paulinite@Vivec_the_Poet@DaddyWarpig Leto II is so based.
I bet herbert saw the people talking about his books, hated them, and wrote Leto II specifically to scold them.
@Noidea24216761@Tahnit@ShitpostRock Oh wow, a severed head. A demon without clothes and cursing.
That's is EXACTLY like this a unicorn with rainbows.
I must've been blind.
@Evangelion217@Templarpilled โBecause heโs more than ghola; heโs Duncan Idaho.โ
โThe Bene Tleilax made him.โ
โThey made more than they intended.โ

@IThunderboltl@Templarpilled Danger told from the perspective of someone who was always correct.
His death is the result of the Golden Path.
Leto II loved surprises. He didn't fabricate his death. He followed the Golden path.
That was the point.
A good book about moral OBJECTIVITY is Lord of the Rings.
@IThunderboltl@Templarpilled Leto II specifically says he doesn't know about or want to know about his own death.
He doesn't orchestrate that.
He follows the golden path.
The book is about moral subjectivity. HE does acknowledge his tyranny, but also argues for his own moral and Holy motivations.
@IThunderboltl@Templarpilled That's the complexity of the character. He understood all of time and space. He was in a unique position to save humanity.
He sacrificed himself and his conscience to do so.
Without him,humanity would die.
In this case, a simple black and white platitude isn't sufficient.
