@rnewton7777 I added about 15% to my position around 21, convincing myself. There's no way it can really go much lower.
And yet here we find ourselves. No matter how patient I am, I could have always been more patient lmao.
@Sunil90666519@michaeljburry Managing other people's money requires disclosures, filings with the SEC etc, listening to idiots who try to micromanage your job. Get rid of the fiduciary aspect, and he's more free to speak his mind now. You get more money with other people's money, but maybe he doesn't need it
@UnexplainedName@MisaMi1362540 Independent contractor s, or self employed people, pay out the ass upfront on taxes. It's always good to remind yourself that whatever your tax percentage is, if you're a W-2 worker, your employer is paying an additional 8-10% tax.
@TimmyFrank7piz@rnewton7777 Theory that the stock will be cyclically stuck, until institutions become net long. Once they achieve net long, it's off to the races (price discovery.) The larger institutional ownership is, the closer to net long we will be.
@TheUltimator5 Jury is still out on Graham, he hasn't been on any news cycles health wise. But McConnell has been on and out of senior moments for over 6 months now, I'd say that was faster than just a steady decline. Hopefully some old Dems are next, and we get new blood.
@stonkgirl608@rnewton7777 You sort of answered your own question there. As Richard has said about a thousand times now, you sell when the trade is green. Sell a little bit at 30, and then again at 40, and then again at 50. If you're afraid of missing the top, don't sell everything at once. Just trim.
@rnewton7777 Do you like the warrants now just because the price is getting low? I've added 10% to my position in the past few weeks, but I've been sticking strictly to shares. The price will improve eventually but I don't know about $32.
@TheUltimator5 I've been trying to justify buying this for work, but I just can't make the math work with that little range and how much I have to drive everyday.
@Lodoghir@rnewton7777 Vibes mostly. Set some limit sells where you are happy (not 100% of your holdings), and remember that you can always buy back in. Just 2 weeks ago we saw 28.xx. And then saw 21.xx. There will always be opportunity!
@Banano4u2@TheUltimator5 I don't think there's a snowballs chance in hell he's on margin in any way. That man is almost at a six-figure GameStop collective, but hesitates on buying one out of the money call.
@StephenGBucketz@rnewton7777 It would be so much more economical to be assigned, and then just immediately turn around and start selling calls on those shares. I bought 100 shares afterhours at 22.50$, and immediately this morning sold a covered call against them for 23.50 when the price rebounded to 23$
@rnewton7777@InvestBlackJack Lots of children can mean lots of things to lots of people. I thought a lot of children was two, but my wife thinks a lot of children is four. That probably explains why we are anticipating our third one.
@beckettcat_2 Making informed decisions based on data and modeling, and then a single Doctor walks up and just says not yet. All this time I kept telling myself 25.50 was not a good entry point
