Local level ballot access is also based on presidential level popular vote so it affects changes at all levels.

We cannot claim to be The Land of the Free when we lead the world in incarceration. We have 5% of the world population but we house 20% of its prisoners. What has led to the quadrupling of the prison population is the failed War on Drugs. It's time to end it.

@politicalctw @Korriblade @CNNPolitics Also, if a 3rd party gets just 5% of the popular vote, they have automatic ballot access in all 50 states and access to federal funding. That means more of a chance at down ballot elections.

I relate to some more than others. Jorgensen, for me, has far more hits than disparities vs the other candidates this cycle.
