@dantley Definitely +ing the spirit of your response. Though there’s an interesting contradiction between OP’s underlying ref to collaborative culture with autonomy between Design/PM/Eng. Vs “designing the experience you’re asked for” has undertones of top-down, waterfall prioritization?

@Carnage4Life I bet Design has been shouting from the roofs that this is a problem and PM has always prioritized other features. This oozes a PM problem not a Product Design problem.

@theryanking It’s not dead - it’s just being absorbed. The part of the human organism that was “tech” was just another micro-evolution in how we do things. It fit. It works. We are witnessing the process of it being absorbed and at the same time, becoming less “a thing” to itself.

I get it that from within, the edges might be really rounded and it might not feel so obvious -but it really goes to show that tech is full of 9-5rs who don’t dgaf about building anymore

@jessicahische I can see the evolution before my eyes! Haha. You’re sounding more and more like a crypto convert every day! It takes time and some risk, but it’s worth it for a front row seat to the future.

@nosleepjon I could imagine it depends on the discipline- however 100% agree on this for Product Design. UX, and even UI! need to be disrupted. If I were hiring I would be looking for crypto-passionate experimenters with non-trade-fi portfolios. Trade-fi would be deprioritized.

Was wondering what the first crypto related ad would be! @coinbase marketing team looks like they may have had to make a Hail Mary for this. Maybe the multi-mill ad they had on deck fell through and they had to pull something out quick? Shoulda been @Coinbase_NFT !!
