“Try me. I know how the job market can be, how they can be unfairly strict before giving someone a proper chance.”
He’d seem to consider something to himself for a moment.
“Out of… curiosity, what kind of work would you /prefer/ to do?”
"Trust me you would not believe the things they say. I can't hold a 'normal' job and merc work is stingy."
A small sigh. It seems that's got her walls cracking.
"Day by day. Yeah."
He'd raise a brow, though he'd hold an amused smile taking her hand in his own.
"The job market hard for you? And I'm alright, just carrying on day by day."
She's giving a nod, deciding to hold out her hand. It's almost awkward with how she thrusts her hand out. Still learning social customs of people it seems.
"No worries. I temporarily set up here while looking for my next job. You doing alright though?"
As if she were safer in your hands.
- Not at all phased, instead he'd take a cigarette and light it between his lips. -
Are you worried for her well being, or society? Maybe you're upset your years of work could be ' cleaned up ' just like that.
Let's get--
You are not allowed to speak of her as if you know her like that.
(He's practically hissing, standing to his full height and pointing a finger at the other)
You think I want her out there where the government can take her? She's a risk to society if she's found out
Realistically, even in the safest of places, one can be killed. Doesn't matter where in the world you are.
She's a big girl now, and she's been taking care of herself just fine. You're simply upset you don't have that tight leash of control anymore.
Oh you have it misunderstood, she was only caged when in umbrella due to the nature of her predicament. Surely you can understand why i couldnt let her out or show her affection. It would've killed her
For a brief moment his heterochromatic eyes would widen in mild surprise, though he’d take her hand shaking it firmly.
“Having trouble finding a consistent job? I could probably help you find a couple odd jobs.”
He’d nod, “yeah, I’ve been alright. Busy but alright.”
She's giving a nod, deciding to hold out her hand. It's almost awkward with how she thrusts her hand out. Still learning social customs of people it seems.
"No worries. I temporarily set up here while looking for my next job. You doing alright though?"

“Hello Artemis, sorry about that. I tend to drop by unannounced. It’s an old habit I need to work on.”
She's ready to bare her fangs before poking up more seeing him.
"Oh, Blake! Hi!"
She's practically jumping that wall to greet him. "I wasn't expecting to see anyone else around here today."

Hm. Still rather off topic though, it started with Dungeons and Dragons, to finding any persons weaknesses to fall into submission. It’s quite the change.
Perhaps, unfortunately, it’s not as if many people will go out of their ways to find these in people. Given it can often take more time than one considers it’s worth. So they remain undetected.
There's always a trigger. It just depends on what sets it off. That's the difference between people, really. Predispositions, what makes them tick. Boom.
Only if they’re caught, some know how to ‘ blend in ‘ with society. They can be just as cunning to everyone they meet, but in the end, it’s all circumstance. One odd variable can make all the difference with those people. Or any person really.
It depends on who it is I suppose. Some of the mentally disturbed are truly unhinged. It would be a worthy challenge to take on though. Yet, they like to toss them away into asylum to never be seen again
Not necessarily the young, but you would be correct. The world often doesn’t trust them because they’re nutcases, with crazy stories and beliefs that don’t fit society. Though most cases they’re harmless, but there are some heavily known ones that are and were dangerous.
Of course they are. Their minds are vulnerable and easily influenced. You want the broken and young to craft and mold to fit what you want. There’s a reason they aren’t trusted out in the world. There’s influence is too strong for their weak and fragile brains.
Usually depressed and more vulnerable people are the target: easier to persuade, manipulate to ‘ rely ‘ on you and your ideals. A more strong willed and minded person would be harder to sway, not impossible but no one often wants to put in that work.
It’s just a matter of tact Om appealing to certain populations. If you know how to interact with people and can gauge personality it’s rather easy to get anyone convinced of anything.
