@okadikeluc81 @HYPEX At the detriment of the entire point of switching to linux in the first place...

@ShaydeeTheBat @BoundaryBreak Your theory-of-mind is failing hard here. Think about the life experiences the person you're chastising had first before criticizing them, especially when they are stating that they genuinely were unaware that something is considered harmful and are showing steps to learn.

So I just found out that @semper_verus exists. I'm not a fan.

@veggero After your teams efforts, the hard work from the Linux community as a whole, and Valve & AMDs massive contributions, I'm thinking it's a highly realistic possibility. Lots of people are getting exposure to KDE and Linux now that never would have.

@gardiner_bryant @veggero Gardiner, I expected better of you

[Semperverus© @Semperverus]

@CreperKnowitall @NintendoAmerica You misspelled "PC"

[Semperverus© @Semperverus]

@asbjornphoto @Hey83136333 @aarongreenberg @valvesoftware PC isn't exclusively Windows my guy. Linux is PC too.

[Semperverus© @Semperverus]

@GuildWars2 I wish I had a bit more time. Elden Ring is consuming me...

@linusgsebastian @LinusTech Dolphin file browser on Linux got root elevation support (modify files as admin): https://t.co/htffiGnUqM

[Semperverus© @Semperverus]

@DirectorGraham @lilmayn49 @NintendoAmerica I don't think @lilmayn49 is right to just blurt something like that out without explaining anything, but your response is such an /r/tomorrow response it's gross.

@veggero By posting on a social media site, you control exactly what you share. Though other invisible data like activity data (when you're active, posts you spend a lot of time looking at, etc.) also build onto your dossier they build on you.

[Semperverus© @Semperverus]

@veggero My personal issue is that, by itself, a heart rate isn't necessarily bad to share. But plug that into the giant panopticon algorithms that Google has and they learn WAY more about you than they should just through analyzing yet another data point on you. It's *creepy* and *evil*.

[Semperverus© @Semperverus]

@veggero Love your videos, keep up the great work Niccolò!

[Semperverus© @Semperverus]

@veggero Generally you want to ask permission whenever possible (both as a courtesy and to legally protect yourself - get it in writing), but fair-use laws in the U.S. at least can allow you to use some short amount of footage as long as you're adding lots of commentary.

[Semperverus© @Semperverus]

@LinusTech Please get @veggero (KDE developer who does YouTube videos and works on the user experience) on WAN show, or an episode with him, after the Linux Challenge. Would love to see a collab with him, he is a very kind person and does great work.
