Later today I will resign from the Wisconsin State Senate. I want to thank the people of the 12th Senate District for putting their faith in me to represent their voices in Madison. It has been an honor to work for them in the Wisconsin Legislature.
Secretary-designee Andrea Palm must immediately resign from her appointment as @DHSWI Secretary. Ms. Palm came here as @GovEvers' hired gun, and she will leave with Wisconsin's corpse if she continues. https://t.co/nhEGXnEgfU
The Wisconsin Supreme Court struck down the "Safer At Home" Order, stating that Secretary-designee Palm exceeded her statutory authority and that the order was unenforceable.

Secretary of WEDC, Missy Hughes, should place a call to Tesla. If California doesn't want Tesla, it may be a golden opportunity for Wisconsin! Better yet, Governor Evers should make the call. #madeinwisconsin

“I’m not being dramatic,” Nagel told The Times in an interview last week. “This is forecasted. We will have hundreds of businesses fail from Wausau north if we shelter in place until May 26. You have to have revenue to pay your bills.” https://t.co/VuzUl5QD1E
Last week, @GovEvers deflated the hopes of people across Wisconsin with the announcement of shutting down the state through May. Most people understood constraining their lives through April 24. Unfortunately the Governor provided no plan for the future.
This week, the Legislature will provide leadership and an optimistic new direction for the people of our great state. The power grab by a career bureaucrat with no past ties to Wisconsin will be challenged. A plan to safely and responsibly reopen will be created.
