Today, I am voting YES on the #PROAct because I trust Minnesotans to make their own reproductive healthcare decisions. It's time we protect this right in state law! #mnleg#reproductivefreedom
.@GovTimWalz, @LtGovFlanagan, @SenateDFL & @mnhouseDFL are delivering an epic & transformational legislative session.
Thank you for listening; these bold actions will make Minnesotans safer! #mnleg https://t.co/5Csw3ol6HL
We promised action on gun safety.
Today, @GovTimWalz, @mnhouseDFL, and @SenateDFL kept that promise.
Universal background checks and a red flag bill are now law in Minnesota!

Congratulations to Officer John Erickson, Officer Tyler Gonzales, Officer Josh Hoadley and Officer Eduardo Dominguez who received the Oath of Office from Chief New at Tuesday's City Council meeting. Welcome to the Eagan Police Department!
"Legislating is a set of choices. You can either choose to continue wandering down a seemingly futile path of trying to extract concessions from the Majority that are beyond your leverage, or you can choose to provide your
constituents with the benefits they deserve and need"
This is exactly why we need to invest in preparing our future workforce for careers in tech. I’m proud of the legislature for securing $3 million for my legislation in competitive grant funding for robotics & STEM programs across the state! #mnleg#STEM https://t.co/4B3rkFNkTG
And this doesn't even include some of the other incredible legislation, including (just to name a few):
♀️ Protecting Reproductive Freedoms
🗳️Voting Rights
🌮Universal Schools Meals
🌎100% Clean Energy by 2040
🔫Background checks

Coming from a family of strong women, I am immensely proud to support SF 37 and HF 197! Everyone deserves equal rights and protections, and now, Minnesota voters will have the power to amend our constitution to provide equality under the law. #mnleg#ERA
Also included is our 300M public safety aid that goes to every city, county, & Tribal nation in MN.
Aid can be used for violence prevention, victim services, training, intervention programs, mental health crisis response, first responder wellness, personnel, & more. #mnleg
Stop by and join our officers at Dunkin' Donuts @DunkinDonuts - 1420 Yankee Doodle Rd in Eagan tomorrow 6-11 am to support #CopOnARooftop, a Law Enforcement Torch Run fundraising event benefitting Special Olympics @SOMinnesota athletes in Minnesota.
Sen. Mary Kunesh (D-New Brighton) and Sen. Nicole Mitchell (D-Woodbury) celebrate the passage of SF37, which would let voters decide whether to amend Minnesota’s constitution to provide equality under the law. #mnleg https://t.co/11aGbwLe0b
This is absolutely what's happening.
Convened 10am Tue & adjourned almost 6am Wed.
20hrs, for only 4 bills. None 100% party lines, so not "partisan."
Yet, Repubs talked hours upon hours to slow progress.
@SenateDFL, by contrast, are here to work...even if it takes all night.🌙
While you were sleeping.. Senate passed historic boost in state aid to Minnesota schools. One Republican joined 34 Democrats in support. It passed the House Tuesday afternoon so it’s now on its way to the governor’s desk.
Eagan PD Honor Guard along with other LE agencies stood guard at the Law Enforcement Memorial in St. Paul yesterday. At a wreath laying ceremony to honor officers who have Fallen in the Line of Duty, Chief New was joined by the family of Officer Lou Jeska who passed away 8/30/93.
The overwhelming majority of Minnesotans support universal background checks and a red flag law. After years of gridlock, we're finally taking action to reduce gun violence in our state. https://t.co/OpOFCnSqiz
Another new bison calf made Mother’s Day even more special for Dakota County’s herd.
The bison herd, which was made possible through grant funding, has now grown from eight to 11.
Today, I signed into law $1 billion for housing – the largest single housing investment in state history.
From rental assistance to ensuring homeownership is an option, this is a generational investment to grow our workforce and make Minnesota the best state to raise a family.
Today is Peace Officers Memorial Day, a day where we recognize and honor Minnesotans who were killed in the line of duty while protecting and serving our community. We thank them for their sacrifice and offer our condolences to their families and loved ones.
Conference committees are now meeting and considering all the various provisions in their bills. Approving matching policies and agreeing on new language for policies that don't quite match.
In the next week, we should start seeing some finalized "conference committee reports."
