@CityAndStateNY Wow, what a cynical, biased article. Here are some facts from just some of the reputable studies that have been done over the years. https://t.co/lajmbssJVz
@BobHoldenNYC Thank you Councilor Holden for focusing on this mental health crisis and the solution to stopping the violence. Please fight hard to implement Kendra’s Law.
@BobHoldenNYC Kendra’s Law was passed in honor of a young woman pushed in front of a subway train in 1999. Mayor Adams should finally get people who are a danger to themselves or others the help they need. Kendra’s Law has been proven to reduce violence, suicide, incarceration, and addiction.
@cpnys@gerardkas Sincere thanks to Chairwoman Anna Wilcox and State Chairman Gerry Kassar for your incredible leadership. We have a huge state and Chairman Kassar is traveling everywhere to inform voters about voting NO on Ballot Propositions 1, 3, and 4 on Nov. 2.
@JCAndersonNYC Absolutely. Kendra’s Law has been proven to reduce homelessness, psychiatric hospitalizations, violence, arrests and incarcerations, drug and alcohol abuse while enhancing wellness and quality of life. Why isn’t it used more? https://t.co/Om97I1QKZu
@RobertHarding So sorry you and your family have to deal with this hardship. You’ve always been fair and professional in your reporting. It doesn’t feel good right now, but have faith it will work out. Warmest wishes for health and happiness.
