I've been a developer for the past 16+ years, working everyday with React, Vue... and still wondering what makes client-render better than server-render. Not easy to set some good points on this discussion. I still think server-render is the way to go in 99% of the cases.
@RehanToday @GooseGregarious@wmertens @torturecrush From my understanding is quite hard to not neglect anyone unless you make it a free field. I do understand the marketing standpoint but maybe you're doing yourself worse than not having that data?!
@monteiro@eduardoortiz Also the event can be a reminder of what not do. Germany tried to "hide" what happened in WW2 for example. Portuguese school should be way more straightforward on this matter and really teach what happened there. You are taught to be proud of that event.
@monteiro@eduardoortiz I'll try to hear it. As a portuguese, sometimes is hard to know the other side of the story and how people really feel about it. Ashamed of that part of my ancestry of course.
@monteiro Honest question without irony or sarcasm. Don't you think that is an over generalisation of an event? I get where you're going with that but at the same time there was some more to the discoveries. Not justifying the acts by the way and probably still justifiable to take it down.
@GooseGregarious@wmertens @torturecrush So yeah... Data as I said :) but that is actually a good point in favor of it, for better conversion. I still rather not have it?! You can also gather that knowledge for the conversion in other ways, generally speaking. Probably not as fast.
@wmertens @torturecrush In general, most of the form data isn't really needed for the app functioning. It is needed for selling the data. I'm more and more into projects that you pay for making that payment the source of revenue not the data.
@torturecrush I was feeling that would be the case. In general, it is just best not to use these kind of selections. This kind of form question is more statistical then a real use for the application itself. Thanks for the honest answer.
@MrScottEddy People (in general) don't care about others. All is about their comfort and individualism but there are still groups of people that go against the grain.
@viagogo trying to send my tickets and the website states "finalizing details of the request", tried to contact support, super unhelpful. what will happen now?
