@CoachDWill__ I’m just talking from an entertainment standpoint from a viewer standpoint. I think it would be a cool watch to see different offenses and how they operate. You could do it with Defenses too.

@SlotTMafia@CoachKGrabowski Do you guys always trap the Tackle whether he’s in the A Gal or B gap? Do you ever long a trap a whole wider vs and A gap Tackle?
@WingTCoachRyan TE did a great job getting on the LB after the contact on the 5t.
We’d have our WB do something similar on our down G play. After Gaping down on him on buck a couple times he’ll flash hands at him the release to the overhang. Gets the DE’s eyes on him so he doesn’t see the trap.
@wingtuniversity This past year was a special experience. Defeating a good Mogadore team to win the Regional Championship, and getting to practice on Thanksgiving!
@wingtuniversity Yeah I think we’re on the same page, we call it WB reverse, but I’ve heard it called counter criss cross and a few other names. Our playbook vernacular is a little unique compared to a lot of other wing T programs.
@wingtuniversity There’s other if-thens too. If the DT is blowing up the down block you can run trap, if the backside backer is flowing hard over the top you can run WB Reverse (double hand off). You can also work in waggle if safeties are getting too nosy. We burned some teams with it this year.
@max_washausen That was a blast to watch, awesome 1st drive.
When you shift to the 5 man surface.

Do you just keep all frontside guys on GDB rules? Guards always still pull?
@CoachShiffman A4: Recon is always helpful, D ‘s tip stunts with alignments and lb movement. 1st two steps are key. Get yourself on your track and trust what’s going to show up (don’t chase), Eye the near knee of the biggest DL threat for your play. If he’s angling towards you it moves 1st.
@CoachjakeOL To me, duck walking has a place in more vertical run games like inside zone/duos. Your force is typically being met head on by defenders and the movement is vertical, so balance, strain, and the ability to maintain that block takes a more stable lower base.
@CoachjakeOL Wing T wise We run off the ball.
Gap scheme wise, I want lateral movement so I want our shoulders on a guys near hip and I want our legs driving. I want movement down the LOS
Sweeps, we get our 👀 to our landmark and drive speed/force through the defenders outside half.
