In my Cherokee culture, a red sunrise can often mean success or victory, and I have awoken the last two days to a burning crimson sky.
This is important, because I've been sorting through a lot of emotions - from the Annunciation school shooting, to Iryna Zarutska, and now Charlie Kirk.
Only yesterday, my soul boiled with anger and despair, convinced evil was winning. Yet today, under these "red dawns", that enraged fury has been transformed into calm conviction and unshakable hope; I have felt God’s hand reminding me of our triumph.
Let me explain. I hope you read to the end so you too can find some hope in these dark times.
In Revelation 6:9, it states, “When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held.”
Stay with me.
The Book of Revelation can feel terrifying, but it was actually written to "strengthen" Christians because it unveils Jesus, not just the devil and his demonic horde.
In Revelation 6:9, suffering is both seen and honored by God. The “souls under the altar” are "remembered, robed, and told to rest" because their sacrifice is precious and "will be vindicated." We have to remember, God sets limits on evil and time. In fact, in Revelation 18–19, justice is promised wherein oppression, idolatry, and the empire (“Babylon”) "will fall." For the persecuted and martyred, judgment is "good news" because God puts the world right.
This apocalyptic revelation has always been viewed as the "terrifying end of days," but I want each of you to take a moment of pause, change your perspective slightly—it’s about "blessing, perseverance, and hope"; new creation is the destination.
At the end of the Book of Revelation, it ends with "no tears, death, or curse"—in the end, God dwells with His people and the nations are healed in a restored Eden (Revelation 21–22). There is a "guaranteed hope" that Jesus Christ will finally and visibly set the world right.
So, if you look at "hope" as a "renewal," not simply an escape from evil, steadfast righteousness and piety are a"timeless map of spiritual assurance that our suffering matters to God. When we commit to unconditional perseverance, even when conflict and pain become insurmountable and consuming, our faithful grit and endurance are rewarded with God's blessing.
But that is not why I am hopeful right now, at this very minute.
I am hopeful because I am seeing a huge movement of young Christians rising up in unbending and immovable worship right now! It is almost indescribable.
They understand that worship fuels courage.
They understand that worship resists fear and moral compromise.
They understand that worship conquers evil.
They understand that reverence, devoutness shown through actions, and uncompromised dutifulness to God, parents, and country—through sincere commitment to faith—is the only way to persevere, and ultimately defeat, the abject evil that has fallen upon our world.
This is why I am hopeful.
This is why we are victorious!
Instead of becoming consumed with apathy toward unchecked hedonism, this strong, rising generation of young Christians is uniting in unbreakable faith and worship.
This is not just my hope—it is our charge.
They are no longer passive spectators—they are the generation God is summoning to rise. And, each red sunrise is a summons to rise in faith together, as we, the controlling generation, must guide them.
Having spent the last few days completely enraged, now—more than ever—I am calm... with a profound sense of hope that this rising generation WILL NOT ALLOW EVIL TO WIN.
These young Christians are a sign of victory that we are on the path of success toward reclaiming the America we thought was lost.
While there will be turbulent times ahead, and conflict and pain seem almost inevitable, understand that "hope" is not a destination for escape from what we have to endure, but rather a promise of "renewal and global healing" after we endure what must be done to rid this world of the fear and abject depravity the devil is creating for us.
The devil may darken the night, but with each sunrise, God reminds us: victory is already won—we simply have to commit ourselves to faithful perseverance. Each morning’s red sky is heaven’s banner unfurled, declaring that Christ’s triumph is not future tense, but present reality.
We are victorious with this rising generation, and Charlie Kirk's martyrdom was the catalyst that made that happen. May his eternal soul, rest in peace.
A'ho! (Amen!)
Please share this message of hope; the world needs it right now.

Those who have been to
War understand the price and pain it brings. May God forge a peaceful path for our nations for the next 1000 years. #peace#protection#restoration
Thank you for sharing this. In my culture women hold position of War Chief, ultimately devidimg if the tribe should go to war or war. This is founded in their divine appointment by God as clan mothers and caretakers. Her words resonate like the Elders voices calling us to resist our fleshly reactions and to seek God. This is profound and tremendously impactful. May God bless her and give her tongue the attention it deserves. God bless our lands and people.
The Charlie Kirk Effect is happening across our nation and the world.
In the wake of Charlie's passing, his impact on the world continues to inspire an increasing number of individuals to seek spiritual guidance.
I’m sorry you’re going through this. May God keep his protective angels guarding you, your home, and family, including pets. Evil has been set loose. Exactly what you describe has happened to me and it’s ongoing, including poisoning of our Tribe’s Dog Rescue and my personal pets. Multiple assassination attempts, including ambushes and attempted poisoning. God is with us; we are his servants and rest in his shadow of protection.
@trad_west_ Everything he speaks here is right on point, and especially the eagle symbolism. The Choctaw ancestral traditions share these beliefs with reverence and symbolism. As above, so below.
