@JenMsft Fry the rice in oil until it pops, or until it’s dark brown. Use chicken stock instead of water. Purée one onion, one tomato, and some garlic cloves and add to rice. Cook according to your method. Perfect Mexican rice.

@baldassarifr @CubicleApril I live in Indiana and my company in Chicago took taxes out for Illinois for years. Every year I had to file both states and Illinois always said I owed them more and while Indiana let me deduct IL taxes, I still owed county taxes. So I had to pay $900 in state taxes every year.

@realDonaldTrump It’s ironic that Reps are afraid of Bernie and his “socialism”. Socialism fails because it’s a one party system with no checks and balances. That is not what Dems want. But Reps want only their party, and the president to control all the branches of gov. That’s eerily the same.

@shanselman I had PCs at school and learned Basic and Pascal. We had a “portable” that we could check out for use at home. It was the size of a carry on bag and weighed 30 lbs. I used it to download games from Bulletin Board Sites. Without this the only technology I had access to was Atari.

When it comes to SQL Availability Groups and a hybrid setup with Azure, remember that Azure will most likely be in 512e format physical block storage. If you have 512n on-premises you should enable startup trace flag 1800 to force writing the transaction log blocks in 4K format.
