@PearDeck have you considered making a way for teachers to display all responses on the student screens instead of screen sharing our dashboard? We are all virtual and splitting screens can be hard for younger students. Thanks!
#ThoughtForTheDay Before we delegate tasks to S’s/staff make sure we...
1. Are clear on expectations
2. Show, not tell them the standard
3. Model it
4. Observe them
5. Coach them
6. Provide honest feedback
7. Validate their work
8. Sincerely thank them

The U.S. is a multicultural, multiethnic and multilingual country. Why can’t we simply call languages instruction Community Languages vs World Languages? Then politicians would understand that we are in this together, that we are part of the World! #langchat@actfl#charlaele1
5th grade bringing math to life-Ss researched shapes, their properties, similarities & differences and created architectural drawings where they notified the shapes in their surroundings @WarnsdorferEB#proudteacher
When our 4yo says "I falled and hurted myself" do we expect them to know irregular preterite? If not, then how can w/students who receive very few hours of lang input? All we can do is recast & give more input! "Lang is complex, implicit & abstract." #VikingSpanishTPRSTraining
Did I not tweet about this acronym today from @coxon_mike ? It is genius! RICH bc our #CI must be rich! These are the four keys to #CI:
Repetitive
Interesting
Comprehensible
High Frequency

A2: Facebook 😬 I follow several literacy related professional pages (TCRWP, Notice and Note, NCTE, Jennifer Serravallo, etc,) and when I’m catching up on my newsfeed, articles and questions pop up. It’s a good way to “sneak” in extra professional learning. #EBedchat
This is exactly why I love conferences. I’m surrounded by other WL teachers and get to choose which workshops will benefit me the most. https://t.co/Yucaoh23Oe
A1: I learned so much from @FLENJ and @DouglassCrouse’s workshops. Nothing like a bunch of world language teachers coming together and sharing ideas #EBedchat
