With toughness.
Because when it gets hard,

Tulane Green Wave 2026 Spring Camp Positional Battles:
DEFENSE
Position Battles Will Heat Up as Spring Camp Opens March 9!
The Tulane Green Wave enter the 2026 season with sky-high expectations on defense, and a new head coach in Will Hall determined to keep the unit as the program’s identity. After leading the American Athletic Conference with 36 sacks and posting 15 interceptions in 2025, the Green Wave defense returns significant experience, added depth (especially in the secondary), and fresh schematic wrinkles under defensive coordinator Taylor Polk.
Spring practice kicks off March 9 with 14 sessions leading to the annual spring game in mid-to-late April. With few positions featuring “locked-in” starters, the defensive side of the ball features several intriguing battles for playing time, starting reps, and leadership roles.
Hall emphasized continuity with added aggression: a base three-man front that shifts to four in passing situations, more edge rushers, and match-route concepts in the secondary designed to “smother people.” From: @CCSdaily
