@mws Strangely the opposite is true for me. My YouTube lives garner so many views, subs, and a fair amount of revenue that the more I stream the quicker I’ve propelled. I know this wouldn’t hold true for everyone, but it’s not quite a one size fits all.
@doobermario@ZensMeatSlab@zachbussey That’s an incompatibility of streamer to viewer. Ultimately the streamer sets the tone of what they want, and if that’s a deal breaker you find a streamer who has them turned off lol
@Ayngull I think having face cam on the bottom is always better because when people want to chat they don’t miss gameplay (chat covers a fair amount of bottom screen)
Yes and no. The current consumers attention span is dying, people want quick dopamine fixes, and finding a way to keep the quality of content high while keeping a small attention span viewer entranced isn’t an easy task. At least for short form content. If people want to blame the current consumer pool on these platforms though I think that’s fair.
@DoxycDreamer I loved the relevance of the Disney worlds and that they were all in a way connected through this “council” of villains and the princesses of heart.
@DominateImpulse@kawaiiguy I’ll speak from experience that my growth on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram got me partnered on Twitch when before hand I was stagnant. It ain’t easy, and you have to make good content, but it’s fully a great way to grow your streams.
The og on gameboy advanced when I was a kid was so amazing, and made the wait for kh2 better. But I never enjoyed re chain of memories. Of course the graphics were cool, but the card system wasn’t cool like it was on gameboy. And also Sora sounding that old before kh2 was also weird to me.
@Dayscarr Streamers can choose to play with whoever they want. I don’t let viewers play with me. I haven’t from when I started streaming and I’m doing just fine.
Content creators have more to offer than just playing with viewers.
@JordanLDurham One hundred percent. I think a lot of Dragonball fans don’t know much about Grandpa Gohan. It’s what makes the mustache cool to me because it’s clearly a homage to him.
@ball_limit That was also drawn by Toriyama in 89’. Things changed a lot over the years with how muscular he made the characters, or else he may have very well made that drawing more muscular.
@Sweetbuttermil3 I just tell them no haha. I’m pretty boundary heavy with letting chat get too close in certain ways. I love connecting with my community of course, but I am here to put on a show. Sometimes that line gets a bit blurry for people.
@ReAnimateHer_ What I do is I open up with twitch, TikTok, and YouTube. Then once I’m through with my first three hours which is fitness gaming segment, I do just Twitch. Twitch was getting watered down because of the TikTok and YouTube focused content. But it’s hugely benefited Twitch overall
