@benbackupbackup On one hand, I’m not a fan of the State doing anything on principle.
That being said, you can’t commit aggression against communists. Because communists aren’t people.
I certainly hope the company they work for has worker’s comp, to help their families with the funerals.
Not to mention the utter plummet in patronage when people find out they’re a scam who aggresses on their customers, if not being driven out by their former patrons.
Either way, I’m certain I’d have a better chance with them than whatever state-enforced ‘peacekeeping’ force you would propose. With them, they have no incentive to make good on their promised services. Your hypothetical hinges on the idea that there is only one organization with a monopoly on force, which is exactly what commies like you propose.
While I’m aware there will still be bad actors, because humans are not altruistic, I think that freedom of association alongside libertarian ethics, will be better than what we have now.
Cartels trafficking? That’s an NAP violation because we in fact do not like slavery, because you own yourself and to attempt to violate the ownership a person has over their body is aggression. If they’re caught slaving, anyone who witnesses or learns of this has justification to stop them by any means necessary.
Adversaries infiltrating? Well, theoretically they would have a better incentive to trade with us rather than fight us. But if they are gathering intelligence invade they would find that
1. There are hundreds or more of small, elite private armed forces with training and equipment that equals 5 of their soldiers
2. Almost everyone who is not in one of those private militaries is - due to there being now laws against purchasing firearms - almost as well-armed as the PMCs, and in larger numbers than the PMCs in the case of local militias.
For corps hiring cheap labor? Sure. Except the leverage is no longer heavily in the employer’s favor due to citizenship status. And if the community or city doesn’t want that particular type of company, they can easily stop supporting them, create competitors, or even ostracize or physically remove the offending corp if need be.
And where does a caste system come into this? Everyone has the same natural rights, only thing is you can’t just make up other rights that violate the former.
@Muaddibisme@Rothmus No, but I would pay for their services or hire an insurance company that has an equivalent far more readily than a government police force
@E2Everlasting@LPNational The issue is not immigration. The issue is State’s violation of freedom of association and the forced wealth redistribution that incentivizes parasites to come in.
@Muaddibisme@Rothmus Anarcho-Capitalism is one of the few ideologies that accounts for bad actors. I suggest you look into Hans-Hermann Hoppe’s concept of Physical Removal.
On a personal quest of mine after realizing I know nothing while acting like I do, I sought and read the most prominent books from each end of the political spectrum, from the Communist Manifesto to The Doctrine of Fascism. The only one that, upon scrutiny and philosophical interrogation, was determined to be true was Human Action: A treatise on Economics by Mises. Then I read Hoppe, found Mentiswave, and then found Liquid Zulu. ZZ
