Many of you will remember this iconic picture from the early days of full scale invasion.
The Ukrainian soldier in this photo is Serhiy "Борцуха" - "Bortsukha" although others called him "Borets" [The Fighter].
He was a soldier in the "Tengri" sniper group of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR) in the early days of the full-scale invasion.
Here he is seen riding a bike into Irpin, with an RPG on his handlebars and two more RPG rounds on his back.
In the spring of 2022, Ukrainian soldiers rode bicycles and used grenade launchers against tanks, aviation, and ballistic missiles.
Unfortunately, this warrior was killed a few days ago in an airstrike while serving as commander of a marine unit.

CRITICAL: My good friends, I need help.
As you know, I create art to balance russia's 'tide of destruction'.
TWO THOUSAND Ukrainian cultural sites have been attacked by russia.
This is an attempt to annihilate the culture of a nation.
Despite the war, I've been creating art to balance this, donating everything that I create.
But it's become very difficult to continue. Firstly, with my home in Kherson destroyed. I am a refugee.
And it's difficult.
I'm isolated, culturally. I don't have the support structure of local friends who used to help me with my creations.
I'm lonely. Often disheartened.
And financially, I'm at 'full stretch'.
I help to support both our family fighting on the front line, AND refugees - and our entire family are refugees.
There's no money left for art.
I just ask that my friends cover the raw materials - only that.
And I don't actually need much - with just $100 a month, I can create an immortal work of art EVERY MONTH.
Good friends at present contribute $30 of that $100.
Please join my Patreon as paid subscribers...
...a very small sum on Patreon will help. $5. $10.
I create to balance russia's tide of destruction.
Because someone has to, and very few have the artistic skills to do so.
Please help.

@bastiongrl@asiofella69 Then fucking go, jfc, conservatives are such whiny losers all the time. The "left" is an american centric take on an obviously European issue. We have been doing sniff tests since day one, we literally fight against Russian agents and this fake is one. Is it your alt?
“Tanya. Tanya, are you alive?”
I hear the anxious voice of my friend from Kyiv on the phone.
“Yes. We’re alive. They’re pounding us too.”
She walks over to the window and shows me Kyiv’s gray sky. We exchange a few heartfelt remarks about the russian federation.
If I had to imagine a real Cossack woman, I would probably picture my Tanya. She is from the Dnipropetrovsk region, with thick black hair and enormous dark brown eyes. Tanya has a son, Sasha. He is fourteen, and like the average fourteen-year-old boy, he is not exactly desperate to study. Tanya does everything she can to make sure he goes to a good private school.
And somewhere between explosions, I hear:
“Oh, fuck. Did you hear that? Something exploded again. Sasha! Did you read it? Come here.”
Sasha timidly says that he has already read Romeo and Juliet.
But you have to know his mother.
Tanya has two university degrees, both technical, and the kind of general knowledge that used to be simply called being an educated person.
“All right. Tell me: which two families were at war with each other?”
“The Capulets…”
“And the other one?”
Silence.
“You don’t know? Find out. Next question. What was the main tragedy?”
“They poisoned each other.”
I can’t help myself.
“Well, Tanya, he’s an ambitious young man. He’s just rewritten Shakespeare as a detective story.”
“Who poisoned whom?” Tanya continues, unimpressed. “And why were the families enemies in the first place?”
When Sasha leaves, I quietly admit:
“Tanya, to be fair, I don’t remember the other family name either.”
“The Montagues.”
“Right. The Montagues.”
Another explosion in Kyiv.
“Oh God. The house is shaking again…”
And a few seconds later, she says to me, completely calmly:
“Tanya, you know that after darkness, dawn always comes. We’re alive. We’ll endure. This is our land. Our roots go all the way down to the core.”
“Yes. We’ll endure.”
And then we start discussing canned food.
“Remember, I have supplies. And I made a lot of preserves. If we can’t send them normally, I’ll find someone traveling your way and send them with them. We are not going to die.”
And I answer:
“In the end, winter is only one hundred and twenty days.”
Ukraine. The center of Europe. 2026.
We are discussing how to survive winter, cold, and possible hunger. Between explosions, we quiz our children on Romeo and Juliet, count jars of preserves, and remind each other that after darkness, dawn must come.
Are you sleeping, Europe?
@johnconnorqte7@tatyanaodesssa God doesn't listen to the prayers of Russians. This is why the lady of fatima caused the sun to fall to the earth so people would pay attention. You are beyond redemption and if a lady hates you enough to cause the sun to fall to the earth believe death will not be kind to you.
4.5 years ago I printed 100 stickers and built a Shopify site in 30 minutes.
Yesterday, President Zelensky presented the “Golden Heart” award to the @saintjavelin community and customers.
Do hard things for the right reasons.
today we celebrate @iamundertow’s 50th birthday. he may no longer be with us but his spirit and approximately 73939 fellas he had forged still are 💙💛🕯️
Our own agencies went back through every past sighting, asked what draws these things in, then recreated those conditions on purpose at a site with prior activity.
ODNI, CIA, FBI and military intelligence were all on site.
Something showed up.
In my humble opinion, NAFO should stay the fuck out of internal Ukrainian politics and concentrate on the big picture of harm, at all costs, to russia.
Allow Ukrainians space to deal with domestic issues. They don’t need NAFO to step in here.
Our efforts are needed elsewhere.
There are foreign volunteers in #Ukraine doing important work, both in and out of uniform. But being here comes with a responsibility: to be honest, to be respectful, and to remember that Ukraine is not a stage for building your personal brand.
If you are struggling financially, say so. If you need help supporting your life here, be honest about it. There is no shame in that. But do not manufacture another crisis, suddenly plug your Patreon or Buy Me a Coffee, and blur the line between supporting you personally and donating to Ukrainians, soldiers, or a foundation.
And stop using “maybe I’ll join the military” as a threat every time donations dry up.
Joining the Ukrainian military is not some terrible fate your followers need to save you from. It is service. It is sacrifice. It is an enormous responsibility and, for those who choose it, an honorable one. If you make that choice, we will welcome you with open arms.
There are soldiers reading these posts from trenches, dugouts, stabilization points, and positions across the front. Think about how it sounds to them when joining their ranks is presented as the frightening consequence your audience needs to prevent by sending you money.
If you want to join, join. Serve a brigade. Learn your job. Carry your weight. Be the best soldier you can be.
But do not use military service as emotional blackmail.
The same applies to the recurring “russia is going to kill me” posts. Yes, foreigners in Ukraine can face real security risks. Those risks should be taken seriously. They should not become a predictable fundraising storyline every time donations or engagement start dropping.
And while we are talking about engagement, foreigners here also need to stop engagement farming with Ukrainian suffering.
The deaths of Ukrainians are not content opportunities.
If your normal posts get a few hundred likes and then you discover that posting a photograph of a dead Ukrainian soldier you never knew, accompanied by an AI generated story about their life, gets you thousands, that should not suddenly become your content strategy.
There is a difference between sharing someone's story because it genuinely affected you and repeatedly using the death of a man or woman who served this country because you realized their face performs well with your audience.
The same goes for frontline tragedy, murdered civilians, grieving families, destroyed cities, and fallen soldiers. These are human beings. Their lives and deaths do not exist to rescue your analytics.
And the constant “Do you love Ukraine?” followed by another selfie is not advocacy when it becomes a formula for engagement. At some point, you need to ask yourself whether you are using your platform to support Ukraine or using Ukraine to support your platform.
And while we are talking about honesty, let’s talk about money.
I am the director of a Ukrainian foundation. I am here legally through that work, which means I receive a salary. Mine is just under 5,000 UAH per month. I hated the idea of taking even that when my lawyer first explained it to me, but I have never hidden it.
If you are a foreigner legally and formally working for a Ukrainian foundation, you are here under a work visa. Be transparent about that too. A small salary is still a salary. Personal financial support is not the same thing as charitable donations, and your audience deserves to understand the difference.
Foreigners who come to Ukraine should hold themselves to an exceptionally high standard.
Be useful.
Be transparent.
Be honest about where the money goes.
Respect the people actually fighting this war.
Respect the dead enough not to turn them into your engagement strategy.
Ukraine does not need foreigners manufacturing personal crises, using military service as leverage, or turning Ukrainian suffering into content because the algorithm stopped paying attention to them.
And if this post offends you, maybe ask yourself why.
You COULD impeach and remove him
It's your FUCKING JOB
I'm so sick and tired of all of you useless pieces of shit in Congress running around and fucking COMPLAINING instead of GETTING OFF OF YOUR MOTHERFUCKING ASSES AND DOING THE FUCKING JOBS YOU WERE FUCKING HIRED TO DO
According to several sources, in the Dharma Ending Age, or Age of the Counterfeit Dharma, the māra activity is very much prevalent. The result is that those who are on the path of awakening face a lot of obstacles.
So to aspire to be born in Sukhāvatī Pure Land is a way out for this situation because in Sukhāvatī there are not obstacle-makers and the attainment of birth there is very much assured for the practitioners of this Dharma-door in this world regardless of the obstacles created by obstacle-makers as long as one has faith.
Also, if one wishes to return to this Sahā World in order to achieve the unexelled and complete awakening very fast, then at that time the obstacle-makers will be powerless because one will be an Irreversible Bodhisattva.
So this can be a good option.
