There is a MAJOR PLOT TWIST in #TheCabbageCaseUg, seems like the police have now decided to charge @AloikinOpoloje with the offence of using a simcard registered in another person's name. That other person is HER MOTHER!
Basically, the Ugandan State under Museveni sent elite soldiers, the best we have - SFC - on an entire day's mission that got them so busy they didn't even eat lunch, the mission was to abduct an unarmed 25-year-old girl, they then kept her incommunicado over the weekend, and now want her in jail for using a sim card registered in her mother's name!

I just watched a clip where your “top local coffee investor” says he was asked for a bribe by the Auditor General in exchange for a good report on the UGX 9 billion to teach Ugandans how to drink coffee, and when he sent them to hell, he published a bad report.
The rate at which he hires Media to showcase that factory & its visitors, you can’t convince me that he has failed to showcase those shops and his defence is just a speech.
Juicy part!
The man blames COVID-19, yet the project started in May 2017 and was supposed to end in May 2019. Even when it was extended by 2years, there’s still nothing to show.
The project targeted Arua, Gulu, Lira and Mbale. He was supposed to set up coffee shops and attendant infrastructure.
So people in these areas, do you have these shops?
Any coffee farmers who benefited from UGX 3.8 billion training?
Any youths with a picture of capacity-building training sessions that cost UGX 2.6 billion?

Today, Mr @MaleMabiriziHKK is at Buganda Road Court for a ruling on his mandatory bail application.
The state seems to have failed to try him but is also hesitant to release him.
We call for Mr Male’s freedom as he’s merely a prisoner of conscience. Speech shouldn’t attract a custodial sentence. The Chief Justice is abusing his powers.
Before General @mkainerugaba’s commandos descend to Parliament, Hon Clerk of Parliament, internal auditors, Human Resources Director, external auditors, and all concerned directors and leaders in Parliament should have stepped aside and reported to Kibuli to pave way for a full, transparent, and credible investigation. Leadership demands accountability and cooperation with lawful authorities at all times.
Those implicated or under scrutiny should avoid hiding or frustrating investigations because time is running out. It is better to cooperate with investigators and allow institutions to function transparently than to face forceful arrests and public embarrassment later.
Ugandans expect integrity, responsibility, and accountability from public officials entrusted with national institutions and resources. @CID1_UG
