This is FIFA's "banned symbols" sheet, captured in one of the videos.

Out of all the banned symbols, the one that breaks my heart the most is the Derafsh Kaviani.
I understand that FIFA wants to ban Pahlavi symbols, claiming they are associated with politics. But the Derafsh Kaviani is not even a Pahlavi symbol. It is the banner of the Sasanian Empire.
It is also the legendary banner of Kaveh the Blacksmith in the *Shahnameh*, one of the greatest epics of ancient Persia.
It is such a deeply rooted symbol of Iranian history and culture.

FIFA @FIFAcom @FIFAWorldCup is banning my identity, my heritage, my very being as a Persian.
I have never felt so violated.
It breaks my heart that it is banned.
