A Canadian man was charged with "child luring" charges in 2020 police tracked the username "Fus_ro_dah" (Skyrim), seized his phones laptops etc. (no evidence found) then charged/convicted him, he served 18 months, the problem?

The man they were looking for was Fus__ro_dah.

Somehow nobody noticed a single underscore (the REAL culprit had TWO underscores) they ruined and destroyed a man's entire life, despite absolute zero evidence, this is what happens a system convicts based on nothing but belief, they believed he was guilty before proven innocent.

One of the most shocking cases I've ever heard.
