The reason she's wearing a kippah and Tallis is likely because the artist isn't familiar with Judaism's gendered customs but the in-universe reason is because she is Reform which makes her a blasphemer so she must die.
@VerySaneMan@xwanyex What whacko price indices are you using to reach that conclusion? Even CPI gives inflation figures significantly lower than annualized stock return in major indices.
I wish all of you a safe and Happy Memorial Day. I always have respect for the soldiers who go out and sacrifice their time, energy and lives for us. 🇺🇸🫡
@BarackObama
@jujuteux_reload@LookAtMyMeat1 That clearly isn't the case.
I know of several games with pornographic elements that have not been taken off despite graphic content, and others that have been removed for it/were forced to only release censored versions on the platform.
There is bias in the supply chain.
@ChezzyCode@jujuteux_reload@LookAtMyMeat1 I want game developers to at least be given clear boundaries on what is or isn't acceptable for the platform. I don't want favoritism based on where the dev is located, or how much money the publisher can throw at Valve to let it pass.
@nichtf187@jujuteux_reload@LookAtMyMeat1 I expect the platform to deal with everything equally. If there are Eastern visual novels with some explicit scenes, and Western visual novels mostly made up of explicit scenes, I don't see why the former should be censored or banned and not the latter.
@cybertruck7@esrtweet@rushicrypto Short-term yes, but institutions and behaviors can prevent people from escaping it, even if they're given a fish.
A permanent solution (for most) involves reshaping welfare incentives. But it's also rational for someone to go into poverty for a chance at a lucrative job.
@TNG512@RichardHanania You could argue it's a long term investment. I'm sure businesses that were interested in El Salvador passed them up because of the crime rates, and decent prople definitely emigrated due to them.
Many of you would understand the world much better if you took 4-5 economics classes, or purchased a textbook and made an honest and rigorous effort to understand it.
Many of you appear to think ~0 about incentives, trade-offs, constraints, or second-order effects.
@f_wintersberger I can't blame Mises, but his predictions have largely failed to come true. It turns out rational expectations exist and you can largely account for inflation through them.
