#FridayMotivation
The hardest part of starting a company is finding the freedom (time, money, headspace) to do so.
For some, that comes in one big step (quitting, depositing a bonus check). For others, it is the accumulation of many little freedoms (making an extra hour each day).
Tune in to hear Ira Glass — a household name in the podcast world — talk, among other things, about how being a good boss means learning to set people free. https://t.co/CCAYSnCFI4
The road to product market fit can be summarized as:
- Ship new code
- Have users try the product
- Frantically fix bugs
- Ask for brutal feedback
- Monitor use till they churn
- Learn why & write it down
- Prioritize what prevents churn
- Write code
- Find new users
- Repeat
If you are scared to ask an unhappy customer for feedback, ask anyway
Just being asked usually makes them at least 5% less unhappy
