There’s been a lot of talk in this race about what makes a "real man."
A man does what’s right when no one is watching. He upholds his commitments to his family and neighbors. He doesn’t lie, cheat, & steal his way through life.
Real men serve others. Weak men serve themselves.
This is Ken Paxton's mugshot.
He was indicted on 3 felony counts for investment fraud.
He was reported to the FBI by his own staff for bribery.
He was impeached by his own party for corruption.
Now he’s the Republican nominee for US Senate in Texas.
Together we will stop him.
Ken Paxton is the most corrupt politician in America.
He embodies the broken system we’re running against.
It’s time to come together: The People vs. Ken Paxton
Talarico winning in Texas is no fantasy.
He's polling better than any Dem Senate nominee at this point since 2002.
Unlike O'Rourke in 2018, Talarico's ahead now. Paxton's much less popular than Cruz was.
Trump is less popular now than in 2018.
The GOP is right to be scared.
It was great joining @JamesTalarico and @GinaHinojosaTX today in Texas. They're working hard to make a difference in the lives of all Texans, and will be able to do even more as your next Senator and Governor.
Let’s get it done, Texas!
The President of the United States said I insulted Jesus.
You want to know what insults Jesus?
Kicking the sick off their healthcare.
Bombing schoolchildren in Iran.
Deporting moms and babies.
Covering up the Epstein files.
Apparently @jamestalarico won with a huge turnout from young adults. Want to know why? Here is my guess:
On social media, the algorithms give you more of what you consume. Talarico’s messages are positive. To the point of being “syrupy”.
Voters that committed to watching his social posts, got more of not only his posts, but also other positive messages.
Contrast that with historically negative messaging across past elections, and I think the contrast was striking and motivational for many. Enough to draw record numbers to a primary.
It may be crazy to some, but the idea of “my feed and FYP got better the more I watched his videos” is enough to get voters excited to support and vote for him.
Call it “PositivityMaxxing” 😂. But I truly believe that candidates that can give positive messages, authentically and confidently , can be part of a new successful trend. Regardless of party or office.
Thoughts ?
In just 6 months, the Talarico social media program earned 720+ million organic views.
We built @TeamTalaricoHQ from 0 followers to 1 million.
We launched @TalaricoEspanol to reach Spanish speaking voters.
This is what winning in the new media environment looks like.
America is praying for Austin.
But there is something profoundly cynical about asking God to solve a problem we're not willing to solve ourselves.
God moves and works through us. God has no other hands but our hands.
We must act.
Dangerous people should not be allowed into the country.
Dangerous people should not be allowed to get guns.
Texans understand this — you apparently don’t.
BREAKING: We’ve raised $20 million from 290,000 people since launching our grassroots campaign!
$0 from corporate PACs.
This is what a people-powered movement looks like.
America is the immigrant.
America is the protestor.
America is the huddled masses yearning to be free.
Alex Pretti is America.
Renee Good is America.
Liam Ramos is America.
In this moment of crisis, America needs patriots now more than ever.
Taylor Rehmet had James Talarico surrogating for him btw.
Between this, Bobby Pulido’s endorsement, and the support of other local elected officials campaigning with Talarico, it’s clear who down-ballot candidates trust to lead the ticket.
They shot Renee Good in the face.
They kidnapped Liam Ramos.
They just executed a man on the street.
Unmask them. Prosecute them. No more secret police.
When I was 28, I almost died. I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.
My first insulin prescription cost me $684.
Most Texans can't afford that. So when I got elected, I capped insulin at $25/month.
I know what it means to fight for my life. In the Senate, I’ll fight for yours.
The worst politicians in America are about to quote Martin Luther King Jr.
You can’t quote “I have a dream” on MLK Day then legislate against that dream every other day of the year.
