Don’t get me wrong: I’m mad Ryan Walters has misspent & used taxpayer funds as carrots. BUT, I’m furious that his 2 years of rhetoric has created unsafe places for kids while dismantling the support #oklaed districts had available.

Started year 10 as a principal today. On the drive this AM the thought popped in my head, “I get to do this”. This isn’t toxic positivity. We have real outside threats to the flourishing of our children and core of our profession. However, I truly love this profession.
They gave me this tiny clip for Father’s Day, because I’m “strong”.
I hope we are always transparent enough for them to see the struggle and reward of continually pursuing a life of health. Hopefully it’s a new root system.
