God is moving among Spanish-speaking communities! Hay Esperanza Huntington celebrated baptisms & Hay Esperanza Lewisburg gathered nearly 40 people for fellowship and gospel outreach.
We’re grateful to see these congregations growing and excited for what God continues to do.

Flashback: We are thankful for preachers of extraordinary ability...But at the same time, we know that the cause of the gospel would grind to a halt if it were not for 10,000 preachers of average ability—the kind who step up to pulpits in living rooms, school gymnasiums, and little churches far out into the countryside.

WV National Guard Staff Sergeant Andrew Wolfe, who was shot while on duty in Washington, DC in November, throws out the first pitch prior to the WVU-Penn State game:
It is a somber Easter Sunday for dozens of families in southern West Virginia as today marks the 16th anniversary of one of the deadliest mining disasters in the state’s history.

On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross, the emblem of suffering and shame; and I love that old cross where the dearest and best for a world of lost sinners was slain.
O that old rugged cross, so despised by the world, has a wondrous attraction for me; for the dear Lamb of God left his glory above to bear it to dark Calvary.
In that old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine, a wondrous beauty I see, for 'twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died, to pardon and sanctify me.
To that old rugged cross I will ever be true,
its shame and reproach gladly bear; then he'll call me some day to my home far away, where his glory forever I'll share.
So I'll cherish the old rugged cross, till my trophies at last I lay down; I will cling to the old rugged cross, and exchange it some day for a crown.
I was happy to have the opportunity to preach again at my alma mater last week @SEBTS. I am grateful to God for Dr. Danny Akin’s faithfulness, leadership and friendship. Also excited about the announcement of Dr. Scott Pace’s @rscott_pace nomination to succeed Dr. Akin as president. I am praying for Southeastern in the days ahead.
God is at work at home and among the nations. We have one life to live, one story to tell, and no time to waste.
Psalm 96: 3 “Declare his glory among the nations, his wondrous works among all peoples.”
Everyone can serve in the church. This man is in his mid 80s and he is the keeper of the guitar. He takes it home and brings it back safely when it’s time for worship in a rural area in Peru.
46,000 souls. One mission. Oscar and Wendy Ortiz are witnessing God do the impossible in one of Puerto Rico’s most spiritually dark regions.
The Strategy:
🏠 Send Relief: Repairing homes to open doors.
🗣️ Witnessing: Building relationships that lead to Christ.
🌱 Multiplication: A church plant that plants more churches.
This Week of Prayer, please pray for:
1️⃣ Send Relief teams to connect the Ortiz family to the lost.
2️⃣ New leaders to rise up within the Loíza church plant.
3️⃣ Open doors in nearby communities that have no gospel presence.

➡️ For years, they drove past that church…
Then one afternoon, Leon and Javon Every noticed something they hadn’t seen before:
A full parking lot.
People walking in.
Life where there used to be silence.
Curiosity made them turn in.
🙏 And that decision changed everything. | #WeekofPrayer
