@futchlver@kaieye@Nick___Collins@BDOUBLEEKC The majority of red cards are “foul play” which comes from recklessness or excessive force, not necessarily an intentional attempt to foul someone. Usually intentionally aggressive though.
@dutchhammertime@benjamincowen You didn’t really define it. But a red can be given for a dangerous play that usually involves excessive force. Unless you’re arguing that Balogun intentionally stepped on his ankle, I don’t see this as excessive force.
@zerosokx@Matty_KCSN Sometimes it is about intent, otherwise it should be about making a reckless decision. Nothing about what Balogun did rose to the level of red card recklessness. It was incidental. Yes, it looked bad. Sometimes those are red cards, and sometimes they are not. Depends on the crew
