“Man who quit his season because he didn’t make the playoff after going 0-2 against playoff teams wants more playoff teams”

[Ethan🫐 @SoftlyAugust]

They want you to believe the players getting paid, not espn, is what’s killing the sport rn lol

[Sam @MindOfSamue]

I still hear people say ‘if Man City are guilty’ in almost every debate.

They’re guilty. The Premier League has found them guilty.

Man City have appealed their guilty verdict. For now, they are still guilty.

Please do not change the facts.

Remember when European soccer teams tried to announce the “Super League”, and it got so much backlash from fans of every team that they reversed course?

Can we try to make the same thing happen with the 24-team College Football Playoff?

[Random SEC @therandomsec]

No yall don’t understand, because Tim Tebow and Florida where on there knees CRYING after losing a regular season game. This used to mean something man.

[Baxter Street Boys @baxstboys]

Nobody should go to college gameday the rest of the season. Make it a graveyard

Everyone seems to hate this but at some point we actually have to do something about it

[Jared Smith @jaredsmithbets]

Uncomfortable truth: The people who are in charge of the College Football Playoff don’t actually care about college football, they only care about money.

[RedditCFB @RedditCFB]

There is still time to bully the commissioners to rejecting this. 🙏

[Albert Breer @AlbertBreer]

I legitimately don't know one college football fan who is favor of this.

This is college football's business people chasing some potential casual viewer in the sport's wastelands (like the Northeast) and the dollars they'll get selling the hope of that.

Absolutely horrible.

Ohio State-Michigan 2027

Both teams clinched the playoffs and are resting their starters… 😐

[Cyrus Smith @CoolCyWrites]

I was upset when the Big East got destroyed. I was angry when the Pac 12 dissolved. Today, I'm just sad.

[#GRUNKEHEISMAN @DoAHasekRoll]

This generation will never how big a deal it was to see your team go to the Rose/Orange/Sugar/Fiesta Bowl was and that’s so fucking sad.

[Brad Powers @BradPowers7]

The lack of urgency on any CFB Saturday is now gone.

Every 10-2 team is in. Probably every 9-3 SEC/Big Ten team is in and even some 8-4.

No suspense of failure.
No big reward.
No juice.

Might be time to experience apple picking or a fall wedding for the first time ever.

[Chief Nole @AG_Nole8387]

How did we go from a 4 team playoff to 24 teams in 3 years?

[Nick Watts 🇺🇸 @NickWatts]

“I actually think the 24 team playoff is good fo-”

[Jake Olson @JakeOlson61]

Sad how everyone can see it, even the blind guy, yet Oregon fans can’t. Tells you it’s a heart issue not an eye issue.

[Adam Bradford @Adam_Bradford14]

Some people hate USC
Some people hate Notre Dame
Some people hate Alabama
Some people hate Ohio State
Some people hate Michigan
Some people hate Texas
Some people hate Oklahoma

But everyone hates the 24-team College Football Playoff

Boooooooooo

[UniCat @CFBUniCat]

ESPN deserves to be tarred and feathered for what they’ve done to college sports.
