@RoCa74394915@salthenurse08 It was implied that my direct communication was the reason I was being abused. I never insulted him, but I did tell him we couldn't survive on no income.
Someone tell me how you say that indirectly?
@RoCa74394915 What's funny is she's also been quoted saying you should leave if you're being physically abused. I think what she might say if put on the spot is, "but you can't divorce," but that's impractical.
@ryancduff I married one.
Since I left him, he has refused to see his children. 3.5 years.
His only aim has to be evade child support and hope I become homeless. Guess who isn't?
Destroy the woman rather than man up. Weak and controlling.
@MrsCMFrancis What a luxurious attitude. In olden times, the elders kept babies from playing in fire, because everyone able-bodied, including mom, had to work.
Less has changed than we think. Everyone is abandoning mom, then bitching she can't work a 9-5 and that she's on food stamps.
@RoCa74394915@godlywomanhood I take questions literally, so forgive me if it was rhetorical.
People who believe like Lori do often think that mental illness is fake. It's just demons.
@JanaB5555@RoCa74394915@ariesjill@godlywomanhood The worst part of my story is I wasn't raised a fundamentalist. No religious upbringing what so ever. I grew up in Portland.
Your words mean a lot nonetheless. Please pray for me. Not in a good spot right now.
@RoCa74394915@JanaB5555@ariesjill@godlywomanhood I thank God every day I graduated college before Lori ever got ahold of me. Her teachings may have kept me trapped in an abusive relationship for 8 years, but I'd ve screwed without the education and work experience with four kids on my own.
@JanaB5555 It's difficult for me to read these types of thoughts, because I used to believe like these people.
I don't want motherhood to be a risk to women, but it objectively is. The same with marrying.
