#AEDT1160 With that said, I have had job offers just for being me on Facebook. Again, I am who I am and I am honest. If anyone chose to not hire me based on something I posted, it is not the job for me.
#AEDT1160 I am new to most Social Media platforms. I do, however, use Facebook. The way I see it, I have nothing to hide. I would not do anything that I would be ashamed of others knowing about. Perhaps that's naive as many things can be misinterpreted but that is who I am.
@_Glyzeleee_ Hi Glyzel!
Whenever I see others post things I think wow that’s too much info but pretty sure I do the same thing without thinking about it.
As far as why I chose “Mothers” it was just a random example. Most likely I was subconsciously thinking of myself! 😜

A counterexample of successful online presence would be a mother who posts pictures of her children and their school, tells people online when they are on vacation with a home unsupervised and has no idea about privacy settings.

@Linseman18 Hi Saphire,
It was just a random example of what I see. Just as my small business owner example could have been specifically a photographer or a dog walker.
@BernadetteCuyu1 @AEDT1160_GM3_EA I am totally guilty of oversharing on social media. I try to be aware of privacy settings so that the information does not get into the wrong hands and I also try to live a lifestyle that I would not need to hide. :)

I believe an example of a successful online presence would be a person with a small home business trying to network by posting pages and accounts to social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
