Early testing for colon cancer is easy (details in podcast), and it makes a big difference! My gmother was diagnosed w/colon cancer. They removed the affected piece of the colon and she lived past 100 yo with no impact and no further problems. 1/3

Thank you Sevtap @savaslab for being courageous in sharing your story. It's very moving and a reminder that cancer can knock at anyones door - we can all do our bit to support others and share the burden 💙 #CancerSupport#advocacy#community
Being a patient advocate and a cancer scientist and having loved ones lost to cancer herself makes Sevtap Savas sad, angry and hopeful — all at the same time. https://t.co/vtYNryBzp1
That is correct👌
I am sad, angry, and hopeful all at the same time
One day this disease called #cancer will be curable - one day
