BREAKING: Donald Trump descends into fully unhinged conspiracy mode and accuses the FBI of offering a former British spy $1 million to frame him for Russian collusion.

The disgraced, impeached, indicted former president took to Truth Social and absurdly wrote that the FBI "offered Christopher Steele One Million Dollars in order to FRAME me."

He went on to say that people at the FBI should be "under arrest" for the nonexistent bribery and whined that they "spied" on his campaign and "bribed people all over the place" to "go after" him. As is always the case with Trump, he offered absolutely no evidence for his totally outlandish allegations.

It appears that Trump's deranged rant may have been inspired by testimony from last fall in which an FBI analyst stated that the FBI offered to reward Steele with "up to $1 million" if he could prove his disturbing reports about Trump-Russia. Since he failed to "prove the allegations" the money was never paid. In other words, it was the opposite of a bribe.

An analysis from the Tax Policy Center shows that extending the Trump tax cuts (which is Republicans' TOP priority) would deliver an average tax cut of $175,000 per year for the top 0.1% of households (ppl making ~ $4.5 million/yr).

Republicans are holding the economy hostage so that millionaires and billionaires can throw an extra $175K on top of their massive Scrooge McDuck money piles.

This #RepublicanDefaultCrisis is an absolute outrage. If they want to implement their terrible ideas then they need to actually win elections so they can pass laws.

Policy-by-ransom-demand is a terrible precedent and they need to be held accountable.

Missouri has begun debating a complete ban on out of state travel to seek an abortion. In response, Illinois Secretary Of State Alexi @Giannoulias just introduced first-in-the-nation legislation to protect women who have traveled to Illinois from a state with an abortion ban.

The bill, which was approved by the Illinois Senate on Friday night, would PROHIBIT local police from sharing data collected by license plate readers with out-of-state law enforcement departments that seek to use it in abortion-related investigations.
