Some of the neighbourung countries (Austria, Netherlands) have approved Covid vaccine named Covaxin (by Bharat Biotech) but not by Germany. German consulate in India are rejecting the visas of those who took Covaxin.
Can you please help?

Allow covaxin for short term parents travel to Germany.Or allow Covidshield dose to parents vaccinated with Covaxin for visa.Allow families to meet&stop human right abuse.Most of EUapproved it

So Germany does not accept Covaxin as a valid vaccine and to enter Germany one would have to prove urgency for travel (research conference/seminar is not game) and produce a -ve RT-PCR report (this is reasonable). I took Covaxin and won’t be able to present my work. Not happy

Dear All, can you please push for the approval of COVAXIN in Germany. We have no issues with RTPCR for travel. At least let the visas be approved for family visit. Taking COVAXIN visas are being rejected !!!!
