Another reported incident of violence against a banker has emerged, this time from the Central Bank of India, Khamgaon Branch in Maharashtra's Buldhana district. According to reports and videos circulating on social media, a dispute over a farm-loan waiver allegedly escalated when the Branch Manager was physically assaulted inside the bank. The incident has been linked to a district president of the Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana. The incident has once again raised serious concerns over the safety and security of bank employees.

Delhi court has sentenced 5 convicts to life imprisonment for the murder of Ankit Sharma.

Ankit Sharma was an Intelligence Bureau officer. He was brutally killed during the 2020 Delhi riots.

He was stabbed 12 times and sustained 51 injuries, his body was dumped in a drain.

In March 2023, Delhi Court stated that "Ankit Sharma was killed because he was Hindu".
