Model set to enhance care for blood donors with infections

An innovative model by scientists @Ifakarahealth aimed at improving care for blood donors with infections in Tanzania, is making waves! Check it out @PANAFRMEDJ – the Pan African Medical Journal (PAMJ) conference proceedings.

The “3HS” model aims to improve health outcomes for blood donors with transfusion-transmitted infections through innovative notification and counseling systems.

An abstract on the model was presented at the 1st International Primary Healthcare Conference this year in Dodoma.

From March 25-27, 2024, @ifakarahealth has been participating in the 1st International Primary Health Care Conference (#IPHCC2024) held at the Jakaya Kikwete Convention Centre in Dodoma, Tanzania.

This conference, organized by @ortamisemitz, saw the esteemed presence of President Samia Suluhu Hassan and various key ministries. 🇹🇿
