Hamas point-blank executed 23-year-old Hersh who had a sign in his bedroom that said “Jerusalem is Everyone’s.”

Hamas murdered dozens of peace activists on October 7th and over the last 10 months.

If you want peace, you would stand against Hamas and with their victims.

It's easy to see where Hersh's compassion came from.

On what is easily the worst day of her life, Rachel Goldberg-Polin is thanking everyone for their efforts to bring her son home and hoping his death will act as a catalyst to bring the other hostages home alive.

She'd have every right in the world to curse everyone for failing to bring her boy home. But she didn't. She'd have every right to say that 23 years was too short, that it was unfair, but instead, she expressed gratitude for the time she had with Hersh.

If we could all be a quarter of the person Rachel is, I think we'd never be in these horrific situations in the first place.

@carolmatas This book, along with Lisa, Jesper, and Code Name Kris, were amongst my favorites as a kid. I am not sure I could handle the emotions of reading them again now as an adult. I have read very few novels more than once- and have read all of these several times.

@MKnowlesShow Your take on DEI is also inconsistent with literature on access to justice.

When people talk about certain groups being more likely to fail- it isn't because these groups are less competent, and that is the problem with these exams. They do not test what they aim to test.

@MKnowlesShow This is a strange take on the decision, which also noted that bar exams aren't actually effective at assessing competence. The alternatives they suggested are- even at face value- a better measure of competence. It is a chance to show they can do the work, not just pass a test.
