As you read this, an Iranian missile has just struck a residential neighborhood in Beit Shemesh, Israel, only 30 kilometers/about 18 miles from Jerusalem.
Nine people are dead.
More than 20 are wounded, including children. A
public shelter collapsed from the direct hit. An entire street is devastated: eight homes destroyed, windows shattered for blocks around. Rescue teams are still searching for survivors in the rubble. A young girl is fighting for her life in the hospital.
This isn’t a distant headline.
This is what happens when a regime obsessed with terror and destruction is allowed to develop and launch missiles with impunity.
Hundreds of missiles and drones have been fired at Israel in the last hours. Today’s victims were just ordinary people, running for cover, trusting that a shelter would keep them safe.
And Europe? Most leaders are silent.
Maybe they’ll issue a statement after the weekend.
Maybe they’ll notice when the next missile lands closer to home.
But Iranian missiles can already reach European capitals.
The technology that killed families in Beit Shemesh today could just as easily shatter lives in Athens, Vienna, Paris, or Berlin.
How many more innocent people need to die before the world wakes up? Silence is complicity.
May their memory be a blessing.
The gradual erasure of Jewish heritage and history on the English Wikipedia continues.
An editor is now systematically redefining many inscriptions from Jerusalem dating from the biblical period as primarily “Canaanite inscriptions.”
He even removed the word “Hebrew” altogether from a Paleo-Hebrew seal found in the City of David.
Control over language and terminology is control over history itself.
What was left of the credibility of West Midlands Police has been destroyed today.
We learned earlier that their initial reason for banning Israelis from Villa Park was the danger *to* away fans *from* armed” locals.
But to justify the ban they portrayed the Israelis as “uniquely violent” and military-trained. They used “intelligence” supposedly from Dutch police that has been utterly repudiated - by the Dutch police and other authorities.
And when the Home Affairs Select Committee asked why the vital information about the danger *to* Israelis was kept secret, the Chief Constable ludicrously said it was because he had not been asked for it.
In other words: “We won’t tell you the truth because you didn’t ask a specific question about a thing you didn’t know because we hadn’t told you.”
Yes. That was his defence.
He is too arrogant to resign. The Home Secretary has the power to remove him under s40 of the Police Act 1996. She should use it.
Year-end photo roundups claim to define the year. They also reveal editorial priorities.
Which conflicts dominate. Which images are framed to provoke emotion. And which stories and victims never appear at all.
Police Master Sgt. Ran Gvili cannot plead with President Trump to bring him home from the tunnels in Gaza. 24-year-old Rani was shot in battle while defending Kibbutz Alumim, after saving people from the Nova Music Festival. With AI technology, we can only imagine what this hero would have said.
Talik Gvili, Rani’s mother: “Seeing and hearing Rani speak in his own voice is moving and sad at the same time. I would have given everything to hear, see, and hug him again. But all I have left is to beg them not to move to phase two of the agreement before they bring Rani home to me, because heroes must not be left behind.”
Please help the Gvili family raise awareness of the heroic story of Rani, who gave his life in order to save others. Please support his family in the fight to bring him home:

Wikipedia continues to avoid the term terrorism in the title of the article on the Bondi Beach antisemitic attack. Its takeover by ideological terror-promoting activists is reflected in the participation of Iskandar, a banned pro-Hamas paid editor, in opposing the correction.

In the United Arab Emirates they are outlawed, in Saudi Arabia they are outlawed, in Egypt they are outlawed, in Bahrain they are outlawed, in Jordan they are outlawed. Among the Palestinians they are celebrated.
And in the West? In Europe, North America, and Australia? The Muslim Brotherhood has steadily expanded its influence, often under the radar. Its long-term strategy seeks to reshape societies from within, not necessarily through violence, but through a process of gradual Islamization and political pressure.
The takeover of Gaza by Hamas, the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, and the strong support for this ideology in the West Bank, have led to repeated cycles of violence and suffering. It’s a worldview rooted in martyrdom and confrontation, not in peace or coexistence.
Any society that genuinely wants to thrive in freedom and stability must be able to push back against Islamist extremism - in all its forms.
The legacy of the Muslim Brotherhood across the Middle East is not one of progress or prosperity, but of turmoil. Sadly, the Palestinian territories have become one of the clearest examples of this.
Take Dearborn, Michigan, a place where Islamist political activism is particularly visible.
And it should raise questions about why Dearborn's representative is unwilling to comment and calls it all Islamophobia instead of addressing the topic.
It shocks me that people don’t know that socialism requires the collapse of liberal democracies.
Socialism and democratic socialism explained in under 5 minutes. Everybody should understand this before deciding (PS: I’ve been studying socialist revolutions around the world for the past year while writing my book, so I know a thing or two about this).
Watch Douglas Murray eviscerate Mehdi Hasan.
“You started with a paraphrase of me not mentioning Palestinian casualties. I started by mentioning the war. There is no law of war that says you're allowed to start a war then complain when you lose it."

The U.N. Human Rights Council meets tomorrow for its standing agenda item targeting Israel.
No other country—not Iran, Russia, or North Korea—is singled out in this way.
