ജനാധിപത്യത്തിൻ്റെ ബഹുസ്വരതയേയും മതേതരത്വത്തെയും അടിച്ചമർത്തി ഒരു മത വിഭാഗത്തെ മൊത്തത്തിൽ ഭീകരരായി ചിത്രീകരിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്ന ഈ പ്രവണത ഇന്ത്യ എന്ന രാഷ്ട്ര സങ്കൽപത്തെ തകർത്തു കളയുന്ന ഒന്നാണ്.

ഇന്ത്യയുടെ അതിർത്തികളിൽ രാപ്പകൽ കണ്ണിമ ചിമ്മാതെ കാവൽ നിൽക്കുന്നവരാണ് സൈനികർ. അവർ ഉറങ്ങാതിരിക്കുന്നത് കൊണ്ടാണ് നമുക്ക് സുഖമായി ഉറങ്ങാൻ പറ്റുന്നത്. അവരുടെ ദേശസ്നേഹത്തെയാണ് ബിജെപി വെല്ലുവിളിക്കുന്നത്.

സൈനികൻ്റെ പോലും ത്യാഗത്തെ വെല്ലുവിളിച്ചിട്ടാണ് ഇവർ സ്വയം ദേശഭക്തരെന്ന് നടിക്കുന്നത്.

മര്യാദയുടെ ഒരു കണിക എങ്കിലും ശേഷിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട് എങ്കിൽ എത്രയും പെട്ടെന്ന് ഈ മന്ത്രിയെ പുറത്താക്കി രാജ്യം ഒറ്റക്കെട്ടാണ് എന്ന് തെളിയിക്കണം.

Since the day we suffered the Pahalgam terror attack, INC President Sh. Mallikarjun @kharge ji has extended unequivocal support to the Armed Forces and the Government, on behalf of the Congress party.

The entire country knows the Congress party’s legacy of acting in supreme national interest, be it during the 3 wars that India fought against Pakistan under INC rule, or extending support to the Vajpayee Government during Kargil.

The kind of pathetic, insulting and dangerous narrative being run by Doordarshan is unacceptable. Labelling Kharge ji and MP Imran Masood ji as ‘Gaddar’ is extremely divisive and completely out of place as we face a national crisis.

We are together with the Government at this critical juncture, it should ensure no such scurrilous message is sent out from its official or unofficial channels, and Minister @AshwiniVaishnaw must extend an unconditional apology immediately.
