People focus on the highest wind speeds that are around the eye walls but that portion outside of that isn't just strong, but it's also massive too.
For a storm this size, don't think you are getting it easy by not getting a direct landfall. Especially as its path is due to keep the eye over water as severe weather is due to roll over China and is due to head towards South Korea and Japan.
Hopefully everyone is gearing up to take it seriously as it is going to be far reaching as it rolls through. Stay safe out there.
@RetroToshi@ol_bill14 Yeah and the demo is available on every platform too. The plus side it's one of those demos that allows you to transfer the save data to the full game on release too.
@mistwalker1985@SuperSisi Yeah, but you aren't going to get one of those GPUs in it. You don't need to buy top end because it won't be anything close to a 5080.
@based_Ch@Sevvy_707 Probably looking in the range of $1K. The Series X is going on 6 years old and wasn't even comparable to a top tier gaming PC then.
The price inflation is mostly due to the current Ram and SSD prices. Even Intel makes a GPU comparable to what the Series X has.
That was a year ago before the increase of Nand prices. It is projected to increase even further. Those bulk contracts Nintendo does was to their benefit, but even those are nearing expiration. That's why their cartridges are $10 more for their recent releases.
Your cheapest option is giving up control and you will simply have open piracy. They would never go that route. There's a reason why you don't have the newest big hits on there.
Yeah... It would be nice ans they could still support older discs via an external drive but it would make portable consoles more viable for Xbox.
But the problem of cartridges is the same thing we are seeing for Nintendo right now, the rising price of Nand has increased the cost of manufacturing cartridges.
@chaosprimeZ Some people obviously can't read. It clearly says if you moved on. The whole point is they are struggling to produce new ones and they want them in the hands of people who will buy games.
@SwitchRadar@Asakujaju I mean Hulu got discontinued. Disney is phasing Hulu out and seems to have incentive to replace the app with Disney+ either. Even Crunchyroll is shutting down on it.
@oliver_drk@Nintendeal What's fun is they take off $60 if you don't have a controller to go with it. They frequently sell controllers for less than that.
What's funny is GameStop gives you even less for an Xbox but more for a PS5 than Best Buy does.
That's true. What they also know is no one else is using that console either. What they don't know is why. Could be broken for example.
It's to their benefit someone else uses it rather than sitting because people will buy games, etc. especially with their problems producing them now.
@Maddad_2112@JezCorden It's the Ram and SSD because of AI. You have a Triopoly of Ram manufacturers making record profits with no incentive to increase production.
