Lionheart Stance is probably one of the most poorly designed stances in Tekken History.

Steve's mixups were a lot more dangerous in older games but people didn't complain about them as much because those were mixes that the Steve player had to earn by actually outplaying the opponent.

In T8, you have to block a +5 ob homing high that forces you to guess. And Steve can introduce this situation from anywhere.

When T8 released, the first thing I noticed about the stance was how lazy the design was. Just 3 moves, out of which 2 of them (LHS 1+2 and LHS 2) don't resemble anything a boxer does.

The next thing was the fact that Power crush could beat all options from the stance. I was thinking that maybe they would add like a throw or a low that would add more depth to the stance and the devs were like nope. They just made it more plus so that LHS 1 would beat power crushes.

I then realized that this stance just exists to streamline and dumb down Steve's offense to newcomers who would otherwise avoid playing the character because of how difficult he was traditionally.

If you explain to a beginner that you can sidestep duck most of PAB options, they will tell you that this stance sucks. Unfortunately this is completely made up as i havent heard a beginner say this. The beginner here is actually one of the devs.

The simplest and cleanest solution to make the stance enjoyable is to revert the character to S1 except for the LHS parry and swindler cancels. This will ensure that Steve cannot force this mix on block. ub+2 would only be +3 as a result and you would be able to interrupt all 3 options when blocking ub+2. LHS 1 wouldn't wall splat as well so it's not as braindead as it is now.

If you want to make the stance a bit more interesting, remove the reversal break, armor break and the scaling from LHS 1+2 and add a low to the stance.
