@MoofusHasPassed DK is not the same. He’s been around for longer and has had more regular releases and was in the Mario Movie
This also ignores Star Fox getting a 64 remake basically for the third time to incite interest in the IP
So, no, Nintendo aren’t exempt from this.
@ShiftMaster53 I agree they shouldn’t, but, ultimately that is what Ubisoft higher ups will behave like and that’s not even exclusive to Ubisoft. If it makes money, they’ll pump out.
I do tho think Rayman has an intended future even the devs speaking about why for Legends speak about future
@ShiftMaster53 For some to reintroduce it does not need to be difficult to play the original that it stems from
For any remaster and remake it is to reintroduce the project.
To be clear, I would’ve had Rayman 2 or 3. But this is a safe option so I can see why
@ShiftMaster53 Seeing out a vision that wasn't fulfilled is probably the way to make the money and importantly assess the interest and scope going forward.
This model exists for a reason and it's not to do some ransom. It's because low cost and therefore easier to make profits and high reward
@ShiftMaster53 They could've but equally it's 13 years since the last. That's a whole generation and audience that's come with that.
The intent is quite clearly to reimplement the lore of Rayman and have future instalments and they feel banking on the successful title and...
@LemonMariii 40 bucks and you get that with Rayman Origins Enhanced and a built from the ground up Rayman Legends with new story, new realm, new levels and so on
That’s a great price tbh
@BluDecko He’s been very positive of the recent years
Just in this context he’s very much believing that leaks are not true and he’s completely reasonable in doing that
That’s not doom and gloom that’s just maintaining his expectations. Especially with Sonic which gets fake leaks a lot
@bluwolfblitz I’m mixed on it. I think the issues they always have are still here in pacing and actual variety of games in there
We also did not need 20+ minutes on a title with not even a release window. Kinda backwards to be that confident to show all that but no idea of when it comes out
@GamesCage_@NintendoAmerica@geoffkeighley What I would say, if no Sonic at showcases, tells me there's a central. No way they are not marketing a single thing for the 35th
@PompeyPedro Ultimately this does need to align with looking at new ways to increase revenue to improve our standing under the new SCR rules. However, this is positive.
@PompeyPedro This is entirely reason. We cannot sign players on the level of the top half of the Champ. The money is astronomical.
We need to build and to go into that category is huge. Shows our model would be working and we can do better player trading and attract players...
@TheTrueBrenden That’s my thing.
Sonic stuff is happening this year. Stuff just comes out of nowhere like Sonic Live in Concert and whatever DE is
No idea about the model stuff though. I imagine it’s the other things they said to keep an eye and if they come true then it’s interesting to me
