@MadanNarayanan Well that’s ridiculous. If you have a properly managed and working epidural you should NOT need to have pt’s on an opioid PCA. Agree with @amit_pawa. A solid NO here.
@DBelardoMD Thank you from all anesthesia out there. Re the other comments on here. I don’t think this is a specialty problem. I think it’s more of a generational/institutional norm. We’ve sent pt’s to their PCPs/cards and got back their own one page with a ✔️ by “cleared” and no other info.
