Compassion is being moved by the pain and suffering we see around us and taking action to alleviate the pain. Compassion gives us courage and capacity to face our collective suffering.
Reading this article and scrolling through LinkedIn Corporate World happenings has made me realise that very few jobs/positions truly deliver meaning. It's mostly about chasing superficial metrics and performance reviews. Quite suffocating & heavy.

Albert Einstein's Ph.D. thesis was only 17 pages long. The final accepted version was 21 pages.
There is an amusing story behind this. It is said that when Einstein first submitted his dissertation, it was rejected because it was too short. After he revised and expanded it, the 21-page dissertation was accepted by the University of Zurich.
