It's now February, so I can report… I did Dry January.
And it was a worth it.
Several advertised benefits did materialize. My sleep went from good to great. I lost 5lbs of bad weight. Energy levels were high and 2025 is off to very productive start! 10/10 will do again in 2026
@breeds50@kpottermn@StarTribune It’s automatic after enrolling. I dined at one on Feb 1 and got the “Congrats! You’ve earned a Resy Statement Credit” email from Amex this morning.
@CheyCab The vast majority of Minnesota fast food location in the outstate do a far superior job vs. their Twin Cities counterparts espeidally DQ. Food quality and service are better 9 out of 10 times when you’re out of the 7 county metro.
@kpottermn Found a great deal last night using miles at 1.62 rate (miles/ticket$) to get to a higher status level last night. Saw several other great deals 1 week out from Xmas.
WANTED ON FELONY WARRANT
Raylean Chastity Gurneau, 05/01/1996
Last known address 15xx 11th Ave S.
#MplsDowntown
This evil trash ratchet has finally been charged with several counts for throwing a puppy out a vehicle window during a January Ramsey County police pursuit we posted.
She's also charged with fleeing police and making a false 911 call during the pursuit to try and divert officers away before throwing the puppy out the window to try and divert police.
The medical bills for the dog, "Tahoe," which suffered a broken leg, torn ear, and several lacerations have exceeded $15,000. The dog was rescued in sub-zero temps the next morning by Ramsey County deputies after reviewing video from the chase.
Gurneau was in custody in Hennepin County Jail until recently for another felony animal cruelty case where she received a slap on the wrist with a stayed 17-month sentence for abusing and shooting a dog causing it to lose an eye. Judge Juan Hoyos in that case.
Gurneau wasn't charged in the Ramsey County animal abuse case until after she was released from HCJ, so SHE'S ON THE LOOSE AND WANTED ON WARRANT in this case as well as another auto theft case.
