Bengaluru is unnecessarily infamous for peak hour traffic.
I left home at 6:10AM for a 8:10AM flight and I made it the airport comfortably in time and also got time for breakfast.
35 kms ftw.
I think peak hour traffic is a problem in every city in India and Bengaluru is just the poster child for everyone who wants to vent.
Elon complaining about how Starlink isn’t allowed in India and calling it a crime against its people is helluva rich given how Tesla is protected in the US from Chinese competition.
Unfortunately, sometimes you have to be a little mean to make people realize you're not someone to be played with. Not everyone respects kindness, but they will respect boundaries.
India's young talent has actually built and heading Qualcomm and Intel.
Qualcomm's CFO and CTO is my classmate from St Xavier's and batchmate in Engg college. The same guy wouldn't have reached anywhere close had he been India.
US is a land of opportunities.
If you are young and talented, LEAVE INDIA. Don't fall for false narrative by govt.
Don't make the mistake of calling the thugs in Bihar's Jamui 'moral police'. They're rapists & child molesters. JDU, part of Bihar ruling alliance, calls it "small incident". Only 3 arrested. All deserve life in prison--or worse. Top story on @NDTV: https://t.co/8Xwkvb8aDb
The video from Jamui, Bihar is deeply disturbing.
Two Class 10 students were stopped on a road. Harassed. Humiliated. Molested. A young girl, hands folded, begged to be let go while goons groped her and dragged her away.
Who gave these men the right to behave like this? This is not "culture." It is patriarchy: the belief that any man can police a girl's body, her movement, her choices.
When control is mistaken for culture, and such attitudes are normalised by Andhbhakts, mobs start believing they are the law.
Every individual in that video must be identified and prosecuted under POCSO, and justice must be swift. And if the incident happened on September 19th, why are the culprits not behind bars yet?
And the Bihar government must answer why a girl is not safe on a public road at 7 pm?
We the faculty of IIT Bombay express condolences to the family of the student but will stand by our colleagues Prof. Doolla, who has been named in the FIR along with other institute officials. We are
absolutely distressed at the damage done to his reputation.
#iitb#PMOffice
IIT-Bombay Faculty Forum issues a statement in solidarity with Professor Suryanarayana Doolla.
More IIT Faculty Forums need to come out and issue statements in support of the Professor.
The case against him must be quashed.
IIT B Faculty should boycott everything and there should be no further Studies until the SC/ST Act put on the Faculty is revoked
This nonsense cannot go on forever!
No minister has come out in support of IIT Bombay professor.
Tells you how much they care about the education system. They can even sell the country for a few votes.
An absolute bunch of shameless people!
