This year no state awards announced for Balochistan/KPK Police Officers fighting against terrorists and offering lives in line of duty. All gallantry awards quietly grabbed by Punjab Police Officers.

Balochistan

At an average 12 attacks per day against Police / LEAs / infrastructure for past one year, since August 2025 - 2026

90 police officers have embraced Shahadat in Balochistan only in 2026.

Three DSPs have been ambushed and killed. SHOs have embraced Shahdat while protecting police stations / Fighting terrorists. Constables have embraced Shahadat.

DIG Kalat, DIG Makran, DIG Quetta, DIG Rakshan, DIG Loralai are being targeted by terrorists.

SSPs Turbat, Panjgur, Gawadar, Kalat, Khuzdar, Surab, Mastung, Chaghi, Kharan have been attacked by terrorists and are working under severe threats.

Noshki, Kharan, Mastung, Kalat, Quetta were attacked on 31 January 2026 by BLA in operation called Herfo 2.

22 police officers including DSP embraced Shahadat during Herof 2.

Severe threats of Herof 3 (by BLA) and BAAM 2 (by BLF)

TTP, BLA, BLF, BRG, ISPP has been attacking police & LEAs.

Police is working under extreme conditions and terrorists threats.

Police officers who don’t have any political safarish are posted in Balochistan.

No rotation policy is effective. There were two rotation policies for posting in Balochistan but establishment division has suspended both rotation policies.

If an officer (who has no safarish) is posted in Balochistan, he spends years before he can get a posting out of Balochistan.

Army officers who are posted in Balochistan come here for fixed two years. After two years of service in hard area of Balochistan they are given posting at their choice station (city).

However police officers have to find safarish / beg politicians to get them out of Balochistan even after serving for years.

Why rotation policy is suspended. Only to help police officers with connections / safarish.

Why those officers who have not served outside Punjab / Sindh not posted to Balochistan.

Some DIGs / SSP / PSP officers are stuck in Balochistan for past 7 years. Only because they have no Safarish. Where is merit in bureaucracy.

War on terror is fought in KPK and Balochistan. But gallantry awards are being given to officers from Punjab.

Continuous attacks in Waziristan, Dir, D I Khan, Swat, Khyber and Peshawar.

Except Peshawar to Islamabad motorway, Police and LEAs are being targeted / not safe.

16 officers including DSP from Al-Buraq team (The elitest police commandos) were killed in Dir attack in July 2026 by TTP.

Disheartened Fact

No officer from KPK and Balochistan was recognized with Civil Gallantry Awards.

Only officers from Punjab police were awarded Civil awards.

یہ تحریکیں مسلکِ دیوبند کو اپنا یرغمال بنا لیتیں اگر مولانا آگے بڑھ کر ان کا راستہ نہ روکتے۔ برصغیر میں علمائے دیوبند نے انگریزی استعمار کے خلاف جہاد کیا ہے‘ یہ تلوار کے ساتھ تھا اور قلم سے بھی۔ انگریزوں کے اقتدار اور ان کے ساتھ تعاون کے خلاف فتوے بھی دیے گئے۔ کچھ گروہوں نے اس روایت کو مسلم حکمرانوں اور عوام کے خلاف بھی استعمال کرنا چاہا جب افغانستان میں سوویت یونین نے حملہ کیا یا طالبان نے مسلح اقدام کیا۔ اس دوران میں کچھ لوگوں نے غیر ملکی استعمار اور مسلم اقتدار کے ساتھ‘ پاکستان اور افغانستان کے حالات کے فرق کو بھی نظر انداز کیا اور پاکستان میں مسلح جنگ کو جائز کہا۔ یہ چونکہ اپنا تعلق دیوبند کی روایت سے جوڑتے تھے‘ اس لیے اس کے سب سے زیادہ اثرات بھی اس مسلک کے وابستگان پر مرتب ہوئے۔ مولانا کو معاملے کی سنگینی کاا ندازہ ہو گیا اور انہوں نے اس کے خلاف میدان میں نکلنے کا فیصلہ کیا۔

یہ آسان کام نہیں تھا۔ اس میں جان کا خطرہ تھا۔ مولانا نے یہ خطرہ مول لیا۔ ان پر کم از کم تین قاتلانہ حملے ہوئے۔ اگر ان کی گاڑی بلٹ پروف نہ ہوتی تو جان کا بچنا مشکل تھا۔ ان کے بیٹے پر بھی حملہ ہوا۔ وہ جس خطے میں رہتے ہیں وہاں اس انتہا پسندانہ تعبیرِ دین کو ماننے والوں کا غلبہ ہے‘ مولانا جن کو للکار رہے ہیں۔ مولانا محمد ادریس کی شہادت پر مولانا کی تقریر جس جرأت مندی سے عبارت ہے‘ کوئی مصلحت پسند دنیادار اس کا متحمل نہیں ہو سکتا۔ اسی وجہ سے ان کی بہادری کی تحسین کے ساتھ‘ مجھے اس خطاب سے پریشانی بھی ہوئی۔ میں مولانا محمد ادریس کے حوالے سے یہ بات پہلے بھی لکھ چکا کہ ایسے علما کی حفاظت ریاست کی ذمہ داری ہے جو انتہا پسندانہ مذہبی تعبیرات کے خلاف آواز بلند کر رہے ہیں۔ اس کے ساتھ ان لوگوں کے لیے بھی ہدایت کی دعا ہے جو انسانی جان کی حرمت سے واقف نہیں اور یہ نہیں جانتے کہ قتل کے مجرم کے لیے اللہ تعالیٰ نے کیسی سخت وعید سنائی ہے۔

ہم جب کسی فرد کے بارے میں رائے قائم کرتے ہیں تو ہمیں اس کی مجموعی شخصیت کو پیشِ نظر رکھنا چاہیے۔ حکم کُل پر لگایا جاتا ہے‘ جزو پر نہیں۔ عصمت کا باب نبوت کے ساتھ بند ہو گیا۔ مولانا فضل الرحمن سمیت سب شخصیات کا معاملہ یہی ہے۔ مولانا نے سماج میں فرقہ واریت اور مذہبی انتہا پسندی کے خلاف جو کردار فی الجملہ ادا کیا ہے‘ اس پر وہ تحسین کے مستحق ہیں۔ اللہ تعالیٰ سے دعا ہے کہ وہ مولانا سمیت ہر اس شخص کی حفاظت فرمائے جو معاشرے میں امن کے لیے کام کرتا اور انسانوں کو فساد سے بچانا چاہتا ہے۔
