⚡️Russia is utilizing Africa as a base for biolabs and experiments, as reported by the Robert Lansing Institute (RLI)

Analysts at the RLI suggest that Moscow's deployment of military biological laboratories across the African continent indicates efforts to develop new military viruses and defenses.

One such laboratory has been identified by the RLI in the northern region of the Central African Republic (CAR), near the Chad border. Situated close to a cotton factory near Bossangoa hospital in the Ouham province, this location is reportedly associated with units from the Wagner Group.

The hospital is said to operate in collaboration with the Pasteur Institute of Immunology and Microbiology in St. Petersburg, which, like the Vector Research and Production Center, falls under the jurisdiction of the Rospotrebnadzor agency. Previously, the Vector center was linked to research on the Ebola virus conducted by Russian military virologists. Bossangoa Hospital is equipped for the study of infectious diseases, and there is a likelihood that personnel from the 48th Central Research Institute of the Russian Ministry of Defense are engaged in part-time work at the laboratory.

The viral diseases studied by Russian military virologists in Africa are not common in Russia, suggesting a potential aim to weaponize viruses.

Analysts suspect that Russian biological laboratories may also be operational in Chad, aligning with Moscow's efforts to bolster its presence in the country.

Bangui has accused N'Djamena, the capital of Chad, of permitting armed groups to utilize its territory as a base.
