In the latest Pakistani elections, independents backed by the jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan emerged as frontrunners, securing the most seats and surpassing traditional political parties.

Senior sources in the military establishment claim that the "DGI has won against Army Chief!!"

They claim that Zardari is at Islamabad to make govt by buying PTI's winning independents. "But it is not possible", they add.

These senior sources are of the opinion that Zardari will fail, because winners are not going to go with Zardari, because of the fear of public's backlash
