Akshay was going on his two-wheeler. Three Muslim men were walking past. It was a wide road and Akshay could have driven past them but he deliberately stopped his two-wheeler behind them and started honking. Then, without any provocation, Akshay started abusing and slapping the three men.

As they started walking away, he followed them to a distance and continued beating and abusing them in full public view. No one came to their rescue.

This brazen act proves how unprovoked attacks on minorities have been normalised in the country in the last few years. With the culprits getting away, more and more people are encouraged to indulge in such acts ©️

It is extremely shameful and disrespectful that an individual, (naveed_chahal_03) has used such offensive language regarding the dress code and dignity of Kashmiri women. Such remarks are unacceptable and deeply hurtful to our culture and values.

Who gave him the permission to film Kashmiri women walking on the roads and pass derogatory comments on them? This is a clear violation of privacy, dignity, and basic human respect.

No one has given him the right to insult our people or misuse social media under the name of content creation. An FIR must be registered against him for promoting hatred, harassment, and disrespect.

We strongly request @SrinagarPolice , @JmuKmrPolice , and @DrGVSundeep_IPS to take strict and immediate action against this individual so that such incidents are not repeated.

Kashmir has always welcomed tourists as honoured guests, but respect for our culture, traditions and people especially our women is non negotiable. Visit Kashmir, enjoy its beauty but respect Kashmiris and Kashmiri culture.

Disrespect will not be tolerated.
